At the beginning of the match we had a good understanding of the team, and what we had to do, as Mark thoroughly primed us in the changing room, excluding moisturizers !!! Once on the pitch we saw the referee so realized that it was going to be a tough afternoon all round, I new I should have told him about the Commonwealth games !!!

All in all, it was a really open game. In the first 40 minutes we played really well. We passed the ball well, had control for most of the half in the Midfield. We scored an early goal when their goalkeeper was caught 'Tap Dancing' on the edge of their box. That really seemed to settle us down. Both teams had chances following this, and it was a break down the Right Wing by Roger and a peach of a cross that gave us our second goal from a header, or so I thought !! What no body told me was that Jon Eldrige has a second full name, It's Robin Hood. Out of nowhere he came to steal a perfectly good header, and like a flash, he was gone !!!!!! Glad I got that of my chest. Anyway, from there we sat back a little, and the onus moved onto them for the last 5 - 10 minutes of the half. Around that time the referee started making some criminal decisions. First of which was the free kick that led to the goal, I wont go through them all there is to many.

Second half, we brought on three subs that gave us some fresh legs, however it was a hard fought affair, taken up mainly with scandalous decisions against us, however, we did seem to get effected as a team with these decisions, and this will need to change, however difficult. As it seemed the more effected we became the stronger Tervuren became. The memorable points for me were Chris Lindsay turning into the Incredible Hulk, wow, what a show. I will never annoy that guy again. Oh, and Ben's quality finish in the face of adversity, that goal was not easy to take !!!

Anyway, I think I have annoyed enough people form this so best forgotten, eh.
