Finally after one hour of driving, we arrived at the Vera Girls Nijlen pitch.

The day started off greatly:
1. Luckily, no one got lost on the way to the pitch.
2. The weather was o.k. (apart from the wind) for a football match.
3. The changing rooms were good-looking.
So, BUFC ladies were ready to get their revenge because on the first leg we lost 2-1!!!

The beginning of the first half was level-headed and both BUFC and Vera Girls Nijlen were attacking, but the game was fought mainly in midfield.

BUFC started with lovely crosses from Ale on the right and Caz and Hils on the middle. Ana and Fabbi were putting a lot of pressure on the defenders. But unfortunately, Vera Girls were playing their game as well… with maximum three-touches and speed on the wings and on the middle with their captain # 7 which crossed in a perfect ball and one of their strikers with a powerful shot, scored, and Pauline couldn't have done nothing to stop it.

But BUFC didn't give up... actually they were putting more and more pressure and had other two great occasions with Ana.

On the second half, Captain Caz changed the team line up and decided to put Amos as a striker :-) During all the second half, BUFC dominated the game and deserved to tie. But the referee as usual played his part by blowing an inexistent offside to Fabbi and WITHOUT GIVING A CLEAR PENALTY TO ANA. But on the other hand Vera Girls had two great occasions as well, their captain hit a crossbar and then came their second goal, there was an indecision between Jackie and Pauline and their striker scored :-( (but no worries Jackie, you played a great game on Sunday!!)

After the second goal from Vera Girls, BUFC continued to attack for the last few minutes…but unfortunately the time was up and BUFC lost 2-0 against Vera Girls Nijlen!!!
